Childbirth
As a pregnant woman, you have the choice of how and where to give birth, both with a home birth or a hospital birth, I am happy to support you. Home birth
If everything is fine with you and the baby, it is possible to give birth at home. If this is the case, this will have been discussed several times with the midwife.
If the delivery starts soon, the midwife will indicate that it is time to call me in. The midwife, partner or close relative can then inform me. As a maternity nurse, I will assist the midwife during childbirth.
After delivery, I will take care of and support you and the baby as well as possible. I stay for two to three hours to keep a close eye on everything. We will also discuss together when we see each other again the next day.
Hospital delivery
If for any reason you are going to give birth in the hospital, I would also like to be informed.
After your delivery, I would like to know when you are at home, so that I can support you as soon as possible in the further process at home.
